Exploring the open markets in Vanuatu

A bit about me:
I have always been an adventure seeker. I am a passionate person and love to dream BIG! I enjoy challenges, meeting new people, immersing in new cultures, eating good food, listening to music, and dancing wherever and whenever I can! About 9 months ago, a paradigm shift occurred in my life and got me thinking about some dreams that I would like to pursue. I was inspired and challenged by a dear friend to reach deep down in my soul and dust off the travel and adventure seeker inside of me. After 6 months of prayer, research, and mentoring, I decided to take a risk. I sold many of my belongings, my car, and postponed a career path. During this process, there were times of excitement, tears, and those feelings of "OMG what am I doing?!!" Feelings aside, I decided it was time to really live out a dream of mine that had been stewing inside of me. I booked my plane tickets, applied for a working holiday visa and prayed for a lighted way ahead of me. I was about to embark on the trip of a lifetime: a year long solo adventure in NEW ZEALAND! I'll be honest, I still have to pinch myself daily to remind myself that I am actually in this beautiful country. It astounds my mind. A year ago I would've never thought I would be able to actually do something like this by myself, but I have done it and it feels amazing! My faith in God has definitely been the backbone of my decision and has helped guide me each step of the way. I have grown in my relationship with God and He has been teaching me so much about myself and this journey of life in the past few months in NZ. The biggest lesson I am learning is it is best just to TRUST the process. Enjoy getting lost and not knowing what you will do next. Enjoy the freedom and joy in not having a clue, but yet knowing there are great possibilities out there that in time, will present themselves to you.

I have created this blog because I am learning that life is about relationships and serving others. My goal is to provide a place where I can encourage others when they may feel like they're the "only one" and to inspire those who are looking to pursue that deep down dream. I hope this blog will serve you in some way. Please feel free to contribute a comment or your own story as well.

Happy Reading!
